American actor Post (1901-1989) first appeared on stage, with appearances in almost 20 Broadway plays between 1921 and 1953, before moving to the silver screen. In all, he appeared in over 40 movies and TV shows, with starring roles in Secret Service (1931), The Birth of a Baby (1938), Mr. and Mrs. North (1941), Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon (1942) and Ship Ahoy (1942) and appearances in numerous anthology series on TV. He also appeared as Chandler Garrison in Love Is A Many Splendored Thing (1968-1971) and as Mr. Hull on The Edge of Night (1974-1975). Lightly toned, cracked, creased and bowed. Signature is lightly beaded and has poor adhesion, but is legible. Tape residue in top left and bottom right corner. Light impressions (not visible head-on) and scratches on image.
